SpellingSpelling tests are given every Friday. Please help your child to practice their spelling words using at least two of the ideas from the Spelling A-Z list that was sent home at Back to School Night. On Thursdays please give your child a practice test. It is important that students grasp the pattern or rule for the words not just memorize the words. We test this by giving 2 sentences which include words that may come from the list or words with the same pattern. Some sentences also include words and patterns from previous weeks. Please look at files that include worksheets that can be printed to practice the spelling words as well as the link to Spelling City which includes games to play with the words on the computer.
