General Homework

Students receive a weekly homework packet that is sent home on Monday and should be returned on Friday. The homework is consistent every week with occasional exceptions.

Reading: Reading should be done for 15-20 minutes everyday. The title and number of pages read should be recorded on the homework reading log and a parent or guardian should sign the log on Thursday before returning the homework.

Grammar and Reading Comprehension: Students are given two to four pages of activities that reinforce what they have been learning in the classroom.

Writing: Students are given a writing topic every week. They should be using the Step Up to Writing method that they have been learning in the classroom.
