Q.What Is RTi?

A.RTi is Response to Instruction. For 30 minutes a day, each classroom has Universal Access time. During this time each student works in the area of reading. My groups focus on reading fluency.

Q.How does a student qualify for my program?

A.When there are concerns regarding a student, a case will come to the Student Study Team. At this meeting decisions are made determining the next step to be implemented for the student. The next step to qualify for my program would be testing. Through testing it is determined if the child qualifies for RSP Services. Soon after that a meeting is scheduled, an Individual Education Plan is developed and the child begins services. It is always a good day when a new student enters my program.
