WELCOME TO SIXTH GRADE!

Dear Parents and Students,

We have just finished learning about Egypt and are currently in process of writing essays on the achievements of these ancient peoples. Next, we embark on a science unit that will cover three important earth science theories: Continental Drift, Seafloor Spreading, and Plate Tectonics. This unit will be multi-faceted and combine activities and labs along with worksheets and readings.

In math, we will cover chapters on geometry and ratios.

This is a long trimester, so it is important to keep up with the assignments and maintain good study habits.

Remember to use this site to guide your studies as it is updated frequently.

Keep up the good work, sixth graders, and continue to make your parents and me proud!

Yours truly,

Ms. Yamamoto
