Classroom Visitations
You are welcome to visit the classroom at any time! Check in at the office when you come onto campus.

LA 7/8 Supplies
Paper; pencils; pens; colored pencils; composition notebook; a free reading book

Class Rules
1.Treat yourself, others, and our school with respect.
2.Be in your seat when the bell rings.
3.Be prepared with work and supplies.
4.Do your best every day.
5.Say something nice to yourself and to someone else each day!

Detentions
Detentions from my class are served after school by appointment.

Extra Credit Book Reports
In Composition Skills students may read and report on one extra credit book each quarter. If a student turns in more than one report, I will keep track of them and give credit for one each quarter.
In Language Arts 7/8 students may read more than the two required AR books each quarter and take an AR test on each. There is no written report.

Language Arts 7/8, Composition Skills

This is my 22nd year teaching at Bernardo Yorba. Bernardo Yorba is a wonderful school because of its terrific students, parents, and staff. We are all lucky to be here! I teach seventh and eighth grade language arts classes and Composition Skills.
