First Grade - Room 502

Welcome to first grade! I have been teaching in PYLUSD for 15 years. This is my ninth year here at Brookhaven. Fourteen of my fifteen years have been spent teaching first grade. I grew up in this area, attended PYLUSD schools, and graduated from Esperanza High School. I did my undergraduate work at Azusa Pacific University, and completed my credential there, as well. I have 3 children - a fifth grader here at Brookhaven, a preschooler, and a toddler. I love teaching first grade because they grow and learn so much. I love to watch them blossom!
