Sixth Grade---Room 231

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade, my favorite grade level! I know the year will have its challenges, yet I look forward to "growing my brain", and turning those challenges into learning experiences! This is my twentieth year teaching, with eighteen of those years at Woodsboro Elementary. I have taught fifth and sixth grade since I arrived here, and I truly enjoy working with these age groups.
I am married to an incredible man, Jeff, and we have five children. The four boys and one girl range in age from 36 to 30. Additionally, we have been blessed with a granddaughter and a grandson, with another grandson due in early September. We had a cairn terrier for 14 years, but we lost her last summer.
My time away from school is spent at our mountain cabin, traveling, working out/exercising, cooking, gardening, sewing, snow skiing and attending high school and college football games. Go Bruins!
I am glad that you took the time to visit my website. Please be sure to check back daily for updated classroom activities, messages, resources, and assignments. I look forward to meeting each one of you in the near future. Together we will make it a growth mindset year!
