This is a postapocalyptic story . It is quite violent, but it is a great read. 

 The lives of three very different young people intersect and transform against the backdrop of a total solar eclipse.Ally has grown up being homeschooled at the remote campground her family runs. Her family must give up the campground immediately after the eclipse and move to the city.

Bree, a city girl, finds out her parents, both astronomers will be the new managers after the eclipse. Bree's world revolves around modeling, clothes and being popular.  

Jack is a reclusive artist and an avid sci-fi reader who arrives at the campground with his teacher.  

The anticipation leading up to the solar eclipse  brings thrilling changes in all three lives.

I loved this book and am a huge fan of Wendy Mass.
