Click on the links on the left under "subjects" for your homework assignments. Homework is usually assigned 4-5 times a week and is due the next day. If you are assigned a redo, it is also due the next day.
Normally, we will have a test each week: a different day each week. You will know, a few days ahead of time, when the tests are and what they will cover.
Warm ups, class work, and class notes will be collected for points at the end of each chapter. If you missed a warm up due to an absence, dental appointment, etc., you must make it up prior to the turn in date.
CLASS WORK PACKET PARENT SIGNATURE FORM
Parents: We’ve completed another chapter. Your student will be turning in ____ pages in this Class Work packet. These
packets plus classroom effort make up 10% of their grade. This is mainly an exercise in planning ahead, following directions, and meeting deadlines. Packets turned in one day late will receive reduced credit.
Requirements for Class Work packet: A new page started each day with name, date, and assignment on the top right of the page. All work should be done in pencil, class work pages are to be stapled (no paper clips or scotch tape) in date order with earliest date on top with this signed note stapled to the front of the packet. Class work pages consist of warm up problems, class work, notes taken from the lesson that day, and all problems that were demonstrated on the board by Mrs. Schulz that day. This packet is to be organized and stapled at home ready to turn in as the student walks into class on the due date. No organizing and stapling should be taking place outside the classroom door just minutes prior to the tardy bell. This is an at-home assignment.
We have discussed the due date for this packet and this date is written on the board. Your student was given a few days to organize the class work packet prior to the turn in date. If your student is absent, there is a warm up clipboard in the back of our classroom showing all warm up assignments so they can be made up prior to the due date or they can call a study buddy to find out the missing assignments plus take down any notes. I have reviewed this Class Work packet with my student. It meets the above requirements and all class work dates are included.
