My background:
Originally from the Santa Cruz Mountains in Northern California, I graduated from U.C., Davis with a double major in International Relations and Spanish. My husband and I live in Fullerton and have two boys, ages 13 and 15. I enjoy renovating my vintage travel trailer, working in the garden, and spending time with friends. Professionally, I taught elementary school for 16 years, then I moved to middle school and have taught at this level for the last 5 years. When Valadez opened four years ago, I was thrilled to join the Eagle staff and be a part of the awesome VMSA community. This year, I am teaching 7th and 8th grade English Language Development reading and writing.
