My background:
I received my bachelors and masters degrees at the University of Pittsburgh in my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Go Steelers!!! I began my teaching career in Montgomery County, Maryland where I taught second grade. In 2003 my husband, Brian and I moved to Southern California and I began teaching here at Placentia-Yorba Linda. I enjoyed teaching kindergarten for three years and in 2006 I moved to first grade. I have been married for 5 years and in July of 2007 we were blessed with our twin daughters Kaia and Marley.
